ENJOYMENT WITH A CONSCIENCE
Madre Tierra (Spanish for ‘Mother Earth’) is a vegetarian café and tearoom for anyone who likes to enjoy life. Sandra and Linda, who run the business, want to distinguish themselves from other, ‘ordinary’ sandwich shops and cafés. Our motto is ‘enjoyment with a conscience’. We use products that spare the environment and animals. We also use as many organic and fair trade products as possible, which helps people too.
Opening hours:
Every week day from 8am to 5pm, Monday from 10am, Friday till 4pm.
Weekends and holidays: closed.
School holidays: open every week day from 10am to 5pm, Fridays until 4pm.
At Madre Tierra you can have breakfast, lunch, buy a take-away sandwich or enjoy one of our delicious desserts (which also come sugar-free). You can also experience the endless delight of savouring one of our 14 different kinds of coffee or 10 different kinds of hot chocolate (made with real Belgian chocolate and, on request, with soya milk).
